Leah Wuitschik’s journey from nurse to leadership coach is rooted in her passion for helping people thrive. She loves working alongside individuals, teams, and organizations to uncover their potential, connect with their values, and spark meaningful change.

Before diving into leadership coaching, Leah lived the fast-paced, demanding world of nursing and healthcare. She worked in various healthcare settings, taking on leadership roles that gave her firsthand insight into the industry's highs, lows, and endless possibilities. This experience shaped her understanding of the daily challenges healthcare professionals face.

Now, Leah uses that knowledge to support healthcare leaders and teams in finding their footing and leading authentically and confidently. Known for her genuine warmth, empathy, and down-to-earth approach, she empowers others to grow as leaders and create positive, lasting impacts in their work and lives.

Leah has a Bachelor of Nursing, a Master of Arts in Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, and is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. She is the President & Co-Founder of TallTrees Leadership, a coaching organization dedicated to working with healthcare professionals.

At home in beautiful Calgary, Leah is a mom to a spirited ten-year-old daughter, a wife, and a dog mom to an adorable pup. Whether coaching or spending time with her family, she’s all about connection, growth, and making every moment count.

Carol Gray, MN, CEC, PCC

Carol Gray works with healthcare leaders and teams who want to strengthen their leadership, navigate change, and create meaningful impact in their organizations.

With more than three decades of experience in healthcare, Carol has held senior leadership roles across Alberta, leading teams to implement innovative programs and services across the continuum of care. Her experience gives her deep insight into the realities of healthcare systems and the complex environments leaders work within.

Today, Carol partners with emerging and senior leaders, as well as healthcare teams and organizations. Known for her thoughtful insight and facilitative approach, she helps clients gain clarity, move into purposeful action, and achieve meaningful results.

Outside of her work, Carol and her husband enjoy hiking in the Canadian Rockies and travelling internationally.


Coach & Facilitator: Rosa Edinga, MBA, PCC

Rosa Edinga, MBA, PCC

Coach & Facilitator

Rosa Edinga is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) who works with healthcare and public service leaders to strengthen leadership capacity in complex, high-pressure environments.

She spent nearly 15 years in the Alberta Public Service, finishing her career at Alberta Health, where she created and led the Ministry’s leadership coaching program, supporting leaders across all levels and contributing to how leadership development was designed and delivered within the system.

Rosa has worked with healthcare leaders since 2013, including within organizations such as Covenant Health, Alberta Health Services, Interior Health, and the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Her work supports leaders to navigate complexity with clarity, courage, and humanity.

Her approach is grounded in human-centered and trauma-informed leadership, shaped by both her system-level experience and her work as a coach.

Rosa holds an MBA in Marketing and Communications and has facilitated leadership and communication training for hundreds of professionals.

Outside of her work, she is a mom, partner, and daughter, balancing a full professional life with the realities of home and family, and an ongoing pile of laundry.

Bruce H. Swan, DHA, CEC, PCC

Coach & Facilitator

Bruce coaches individuals and teams to grow personally and professionally. For him, coaching is a powerful partnership where learning, growth and transformation takes place. With over thirty years Senior Executive experience and 15 years experience operating his own coaching business, Bruce has seen first hand how coaching can help leaders of all kinds identify the path they need to take in order to guide their team to success and fulfillment.

In his practice, Bruce prides himself on his calming presence and ability to listen and meet clients where they’re without judgement. He views his clients as partners and works with them collaboratively to build a plan for their organizations and move forward. As part of his work, Bruce regularly stands in for senior leaders when they need a break. He is inspired by conversations with frontline staff at those workplaces, hearing over and over again that they want a leader who leads from the heart and who has a vision for the future of the business. 

Bruce is a Professional Certified Coach with an undergraduate degree in Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Graduate Diploma in Executive Coaching. He is also a qualified coach and facilitator of the LEADS in a Caring Environment Capabilities Framework through the Canadian College of Health Leaders and LEADS Canada.

When he’s not working, Bruce loves to spend quality time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoys getting outside to walk, cycle and take time to breathe in the fresh air. He’s also an avid antique car buff and enjoys collecting and driving as a hobby.

Dr. Angie Hong, ACC

Coach

Angie Hong is a Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician with more than twenty years of experience in primary care. As one of the first family physicians in Ontario to achieve board certification in Obesity Medicine, she helped establish community programs that expanded access to publicly funded, comprehensive obesity care.

Angie brings the same commitment to clarity and capacity-building to her work as an executive and personal development coach. She has coached physicians and healthcare leaders across the country and conducts workshops on communication, coaching skills, executive presence, and burnout navigation. Her teaching style is grounded in curiosity, practical insight, and a belief that leadership begins with the way we understand and lead ourselves.

In addition to being a Certified LEADS Coach, Angie is a member of the inaugural LEADS Global Facilitation cohort, recognizing the growing global value of the LEADS framework. She integrates this framework with her Leadership Inside Out philosophy to help leaders grow, adapt, and contribute meaningfully within complex healthcare environments.

Across all her work, Angie brings a steady presence, a deep understanding of the realities of healthcare, and a genuine interest in helping leaders realize their strengths and expand what they believe is possible for themselves and their teams. Off-duty, Angie’s important role is being the mother of three daughters who hold her accountable to her values of integrity and compassion every day.

Michelle Truppe, MSc, ACC

Coach

With a deep curiosity about what helps people thrive, Michelle recently transitioned from a 24- year career in healthcare, where she first worked in clinical roles as a speech-language pathologist before advancing to leadership positions overseeing multi-site pediatric community-based programs. A coaching approach has been a cornerstone throughout her career. Michelle supported large multi-disciplinary clinical teams, collaborated with Ministries,

hospitals, school boards, and community organizations to deliver high-quality, family-centered care. Her years in the developmental health sector deeply shaped her commitment to inclusion, advocacy, and fostering others to reach their potential.

Today, Michelle draws on this experience to support healthcare leaders and professionals, including clinical directors with frontline teams and corporate executives with system-wide responsibilities. She helps them through career and life transitions, organizational change, workforce challenges, and the real weight of decisions that profoundly impact patients, families, and staff. Her approach, blending emotional intelligence, story listening, and actionable strategies, creates space to reconnect with purpose and sustainable energy.

Michelle holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Psychology and Linguistics, a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Michelle lives with her partner in Norfolk County, Ontario, surrounded by fields and nature. She's the mom of two amazing young women and loves sharing experiences with them and their partners, whether it's a great meal, a road trip, or just laughing together. She also loves being outdoors and travelling. As a lifelong learner, she is currently adding "potter" to her portfolio.

Michelle is intentionally dedicated to work that aligns with her values, keeps her learning, and creates space for collaboration with others who care about human flourishing and meaningful change.


Maxime Charette, MBA, ACC, CHE

Coach & Facilitator

Maxime Charette is a healthcare executive, coach, and facilitator who is passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and leaders as they navigate complexity, transition, and growth. He brings a deep appreciation for the realities of healthcare leadership, where people often balance responsibility, uncertainty, self-doubt, competing priorities, and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference.

Maxime currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of an academic medical department and brings broad experience across academic medicine, hospital operations, long-term care, and federal healthcare. His leadership journey has been shaped by more than a decade of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he worked in healthcare environments and developed a lasting appreciation for service, clarity, trust, adaptability, and supporting people through moments of pressure and change.

As a coach, Maxime works with clients on themes such as executive presence, communication, confidence, self-doubt, emotional intelligence, identity, leadership growth, and transition. He offers a coaching space that is thoughtful, respectful, and appropriately challenging, helping clients slow down, reflect honestly, clarify what matters, and take meaningful steps forward. Maxime is particularly drawn to the human side of leadership: how people develop confidence, communicate when the stakes are high, manage identity shifts, and stay connected to themselves while leading in complex systems.

Maxime holds a Master of Business Administration, is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, and is a Certified Health Executive with CCHL. His coaching and facilitation work are informed by his healthcare leadership experience, training in emotional intelligence, and ongoing commitment to learning and growth.

Outside of work, Maxime is a lifelong learner, hockey lover, and chess enthusiast. He spends most of his free time with his wonderful wife and son, enjoying life together.


In Memoriam: Allison Bichel

Allison was a valued member of the TallTrees Leadership community and an extraordinary leader, coach, and collaborator. Over a career spanning more than three decades in healthcare, consulting, and the private sector, she was known for her curiosity, insight, and deep commitment to helping people and organizations grow.

She believed deeply in people’s capacity to learn, lead, and create meaningful change. Those who worked with Allison remember her collaborative spirit, thoughtful perspective, and the warmth she brought to every relationship.

Allison lived in Okotoks with her husband Stuart, and their beloved labs, Luna and Apollo. She found great joy in time spent with her three children and their partners, nature walks along the Sheep River, and the many creative pursuits she loved.

We are grateful for Allison’s contributions and the impact she had on the healthcare community. She will always remain part of our story.
